Halvorsen Yachts have always represented the ultimate in style, speed and luxury and are now highly prized possessions.

Nautilus Yacht Management is extremely proud to present the beautifully maintained 38 foot Bridgedeck Cruiser “Lyndall II”, (originally the “Sea Elf”), launched in March 1934. 'Lyndall II' is said to be the last yacht that Lars Halvorsen, founder of the Halvorsen & Sons dynasty, built before his death in 1936.

'Lyndall II' shows the distinctive profile of Lars Halvorsen's artistry and obsession with line proportion, which curves and planes flow effortlessly everywhere you look. Few boats create such an immediate sensation as the Lars Halvorsen yachts, especially the Bridgedeck models, typical of Halvorsen & Sons early designs, which epitomize the perfection and style for which they are so highly regarded. As such, 'Lyndall II' is a rare beauty, to which drawing and construction Lars Halvorsen clearly lavished extreme expertise, patience and tenderness.

'Lyndall II' shares the exquisite shape of her famous big sister the 65' 'Tooronga', which flared bow, rounded hips and signature bridgedeck rounded rails became the obsession and inspiration of boat builders around the world.

Prized throughout her whole life for her beauty, unequaled motion through the seaway, and her historical significance, 'Lyndall II' has always been given the most fastidious care and maintenance. She was re varnished (exterior) in late 2015, and as she is mostly kept under covers unless in use, her cabin side varnish presents in beautiful condition. Her topsides are painted with Awlgrip over high build epoxy primer, which gives her beautiful hull a flawless high gloss reflecting the light and water. It is safe to say that 'Lyndall II' will be hard to fault, as she was surveyed only 10 months ago the surveyor's recommendations were addressed one by one. Other than a little bit of varnishing needed in the interior traffic area (mostly cockpit), she is as perfect as can be, and she will be the pride and joy of the lucky family who will purchase her.
