Nautilus Yacht Management is proud to present to market this superbly presented Lagoon 400 Owner's Version Hurry Slowly.
Purchased in 2021 in Turkey by her current owners, a Danish couple with extensive sailing experience, she was never chartered and seldom used by her two previous owners. Her original owner never actually took the sails out of the bag. A couple of years before her current owners purchased her, Hurry Slowly's second owners, an Australian couple, purchased her with a view to sail around the world but the project was cancelled.
For the past few years, Hurry Slowly was used to sail from one country to the next by her owners, who always secured dry storage at secure marinas for the 6-7 months each year they had to return home, removing the sails, canvas and deck hardware to preserve from the weather during their absence.
Hurry Slowly was chosen by her owners because she was in outstanding condition, and they always maintained her to perfection. She was however in need of multiple upgrades to suit their circumnavigation, always intending to sail from Europe to Fiji. For this purpose, they carried out extensive upgrades to make Hurry Slowly a modern, efficient, safe and comfortable Bluewater cruiser able to remain away from land for extended periods of time with abundant power source and storage supply. Her electronic and communication systems were all recently installed and able to offer multiple redundancy to navigate safely should one fail.
The Lagoon 400 Hurry Slowly has never been damaged by storms, grounding or otherwise.
Lagoon Catamarans remain one of the most trusted brand for families sailing around the world. They offer a good turn of speed, comfortable and stable ride, are forgiving for beginners and are intelligently designed to offer plenty of dedicated storage space for everything you need to live-aboard. Her systems are well laid-out, easy to access, understand and maintain. As cruising yachts specialists, we welcome each year to our shores many Lagoon Catamarans who have arrived from as far afield as northern Europe with young families, both new to sailing when they purchased their boat, or experienced sailors. Our company recommends that our arriving clients have their boat surveyed by an internationally qualified survey at the time of listing, to ensure a full bill of health before passing the flame. Hurry Slowly was just surveyed in late May 2025 and passed with flying colours. The report is available.

A Word From The Owners "Hurry Slowly is a 2012 Lagoon 400 Owners Catamaran in excellent conditions and ready for blue water cruising. We bought the boat in Turkey in 2021 to sail to the Pacific. As our daughter is now in high school its time to spend some more time in Denmark, therefore the boat is now for sale. We specifically wanted the Owners version with two full size bathrooms and the big engines, 40 hp instead of the standard 30 hp. We had a great adventure sailing the boat thorough the Mediterranean, down to Cap Verde and on to the Caribean. After cruising the Caribean islands we spend 2 years in French Polynesia before sailing onto Fiji visiting Niue and Tonga on the way. We have been cruising part time 4-6 months at a time and stored the boat on the hard at professional shipyards when not in use.
We choose the Lagoon 400 as it has lots of space and a super functional layout. Its quick and easy to handle and have lots of deck space for setting up diving or kitesurfing equipment. We love the layout with the spacious owners hull and two full double cabins in the port hull with a shared bathroom offering spacious luxury with seperate shower. We have done 18,5 knots but that is not a comfortable speed, the boat is however rather fast crossing the Atlantic in 12 days and the Pacific in 21.
The boat has been constantly maintained and updated with all gear necessary gear for off-the-grid living. First owner purchased the boat as a way to flee from Turkish Dictator Erdogan, if things went south. He almost never used the boat and never sailed it. Second owner had a plan to go blue water cruising but ran into a divorce and sold the boat to us. Boat has newer been chartered and is fully fitted out for comfortable blue water cruising. Hurry Slowly's highlights include Flexofold folding propellers, 2000 Watt of solar panels, full Victron power setup with brand new 1000 AMH Victron batteries, 3 times MPPT redundancy and Cerbo control unit, new rigging, Code 0 on Furler and spinnaker with spinnaker pole, dive compressor and 4 tanks in special integrated dive rack. The boat also features big fridge and seperate big freezer as well as watermaker, ice cube maker and Nespresso machine. To make sailing extra comfortable we have installed full Raymarine electronics on the helm station and at the indoor nav station as well as repeater instruments in the cockpit. " Peter and Mette, Fiji June 2025.
